I enjoyed that the hotel was wonderful little and spotlessly clean. Stayed in brand-new standard double room with a beautiful view and a wonderful bathroom. Everything was lovely, great value for money.

This was our second visit. Undoubtedly the location is what pulled us in. Cove Bay is just lovely. Lots of wildlife on the coast. The hotel was quite adequate. It's looking a little "tired", although I must say it was very clean. Dinner and breakfast were great and the restaurant has great views over the North Sea.
The hotel is a bit rough round the edges and we didn't particularly like the carpet in the bathroom.

Loved the location of the hotel! My family and I enjoyed waking up and taking walks to the sea. The dining room had a beaut view too, and it was nice that they gave us a window view table. The room felt light and big, and the shower was spacious and clean. Breakfast was great with really friendly staff.
The bathroom was a bit dated and could use some updates. I wish the TV was bigger, it was really small.

The heating went off during the night - it was bitterly cold when this happened -

Very clean and comfortable hotel, very good food.
Car park was not surfaced and due to the weather rather messy.

The place has fine sea views and offers fantastic local seafood dishes. Service can be slow during peak hours. I enjoyed playing billiards at the bar while listening to live music.
